Bachelorette Party Game, fun for everyone

Seems like I always know someone getting married OR someone who is going to be a bride's maid and it just made me think about sharing a fun list game idea that I've planned and participated in at many bachelorette parties. Well - always a bride's maid? Congratulations! You get to have the most fun planning a memorable Bachelorette Party.
A Bachelorette party is a must for most brides. The bride's maids are usually the group responsible for hosting this event. Some brides will have strict guidelines about what they will and won't do at a bachelorette party. My best advice is to listen to them, and try to follow their advice, however, you need to make this event memorable and exciting. Below is a list of ideas and items I have found to be essential to the success of the bachelorette party. Most of these items can be purchased, or you can make your own. Just have fun.

Make or purchase a veil, for the Bride to Be to wear:
To make a veil, get a headband and affix, with hot glue, some white tulle (the sheer fabric on typical veils) Bring a camera, have party shakers or any type of noise makers, and use the Bachelorette party checklist (found below).

What to do:
Crown the Bride to Be with the veil. Designate someone to take photos and make sure the Bride to Be completes her mission. Pass out noise makers to guests. There are nine items on the mission checklist. I suggest you start a new one every 10 minutes. The Bride to Be must complete the mission and have her photo taken for each item on the checklist. There are nine checklist items for a total of 90 minutes of unforgettable Bachelorette Party Entertainment!

Checklist for the Bride to Be to complete:
Have your waitperson take a group picture
Get down on one knee and propose to someone in the restaurant
Find a woman wearing a wedding ring and ask her if you can try it on for size
Stand on your chair; get the restaurants attention and scream, “I Love (Fiancé’s name) We’re getting married!
Help the hostess greet some restaurant guests
Ask someone to use his or her cell phone to call your fiancé
Collect 5 men's business cards ask them to write a "good luck" message on the back of the card. (pass them to your eligible friends).
As a keepsake, Go from table to table and have people sign a menu from the restaurant
Have a guy serenade you

The Bachelorette party checklist is meant to be all in good fun. I would never want anyone to feel uncomfortable doing something, or cause an unnecessary scene at the restaurant. So use your best judgment in making the Bachelorette party a memorable time for everyone involved.

Of course, my blog wouldn't be complete if I did try to help you tie in the most awesome gift - a gift card. There are some unique ways to tie gift cards into this event. You could use a prepaid Vanilla Visa gift card to hand out to the girls at the party so no one has to keep up with their actual credit cards. I've even had the Bride to Be treat her guests to some drinks or snacks. She could purchase the gift cards ahead of time and pass them out to the guests as a party favor. Gift cards are versatile, convenient and awesome!!!

Relief at the pump, give a gift card

I don't have to tell you that with gas prices increasing everyday, it is necessary to become creative with how to save money. I've found one of the best ways to save money AND provide some much needed relief when paying at the pump. Giving a gift card for gas is an excellent idea. As a matter of fact, one of the more popular gifts this season is a gas gift card. It's a nice present, I mean it has meaning right now. It’s also easy to use – it’s just as convenient as using debit or credit card. Just use it at the pump, fill up your tank, and you’re on your way. You can show your support for a new college bound student or offer your employees an incentive in the form of a gas gift card or any gift card for that matter. During these times of high gas prices and environmental awareness probably one of the best things you could do for your pocket book and the environment is to conserve gasoline by shopping online for all your gift giving needs. Our unique online store, eXtremely Gifted sells a large selection of retail & restaurant gift cards, including gas gift cards. The amazing opportunity we provide is for you to be in the convience of your home, purchasing gift cards and selecting personlized gift wrap for everyone on your list. What a great way to conserve gasoline by staying home and shopping online and sending someone a thoughtful gift ! It's a win, win opportunity for everyone. Giving has never felt so good.

gift card gab intro

I'm new to this, but the Gift Buddy (our mascot) thought it might be a good idea if I tried it for a while since most people in the US have never really heard of EXTREME GIFT WRAP. So, after some discussion, and drawing of straws, I 'volunteered' to write a blog. I'm kinda a sensitive gal and don't respond well to criticism of any kind, so if you wanna be rude, go somewhere else to do it! Other than that, I'd love feedback a little discourse and great ideas.
I'm part owner of extremelygifted.com an Internet business that specializes in unique gift packaging. What is that? Well, here are a few examples: A 35 pound concrete brick (requires a hammer to open), a locked metal safe (requires a stethoscope), or a soup can (you'll want a can opener for this one).
Extreme gift wrap. It's not a completely new idea, fun, crazy folks have been doing it for years... I think we're just the first company to make actual 'ready to order products' from it rather than piecing it together in the garage. We focus entirely on the gift card market today and have a huge assortment of gift cards in inventory including the Vanilla Visa gift card.
We've just begun to add small, local companies' gift cards to our store. You know, those hard to find, but super popular places that have one or only a couple shops to their name. We're always looking for shops that want to put their gift card online. So, if you're interested shoot us an email at service@extremelygifted.com.
From now on, I will comment on everything from stores we carry, to promotions, gift ideas, holidays and occassions, business, leisure and whatever really suits me for the day, since I'm the one in control of this keyboard.
Let me know if you have questions or want to comment. We also love new ideas and pictures, so send it all in!
